DAY 22 of the Christmas countdown.
The late, great Perry Como first made this song a hit in 1951.
Rumour has it that the song was written by Meredith Wilson while
visiting the Yarmouth Grand Hotel in my province of Nova Scotia.
There is, indeed, a Grand Hotel in Yarmouth and there is a park in front of it.
Maybe we will never know for sure but a good story.
